What to Pack

Swimmers should bring a labeled bag containing:

• Water or sports drink (resealable, labeled bottle — no juice boxes)
• Towels (pool temperature will be colder than usual - have your swimmer bring an extra towel)
• Snacks
• Goggles
• Swimcap — CHAMPS caps will be distributed; pack a backup just in case. If you have a CHAMPS cap from a previous meet, please bring that.

Results - The meet will not be run through Swimtopia so you will not receive results on your phone as you would a normal meet. Results will be posted at the facility and sent out at the conclusion of session 4 on Tuesday.

Labeling Reminder

Please label your swimmer with their first initial and full last name before arriving at the meet. This ensures smooth operations for the Clerk of Course. All 8 & under participants must have LAST NAME, FIRST INITIAL on right shoulder. We will not be able to label swimmers onsite.

Deck Access Policy

Only swimmers actively participating in the current session may be on deck. Siblings and non-participants — including parents — must remain in the stands. After your swimmer completes all their events, you may come down and retrieve them. Deck monitors will enforce this policy. You’ll be able to see your swimmer from the stands. Our coaching staff and volunteers are well equipped to handle your swimmers during the meet.

Parent Reminder

Swimmers in the stands who miss their event will not be allowed to swim later.Coaches will not retrieve swimmers from the stands. Coaches will ensure each swimmer gets to the Clerk of Course on time. Please leave your swimmer on the pool deck with our coaching staff and volunteers.

Championship Cap Policy

Gold and silver caps are not distributed at CHAMPS, regardless of qualifying times. Time standards change each year, and many swimmers shift into new age groups. Unless your swimmer received a gold or silver cap from a previous meet, they will NOT be receiving one at CHAMPS.

Awards Pickup

Deadline: July 30 (must be picked up by this date)

Ribbons from all regular season meets will be available on these dates as well. **We will NOT be checking to see if your swimmer has an award. It is up to the parents to check if their swimmer(s) have awards.**

Note: CHAMPS awards will not be distributed during the Monday 8U and 9/10 sessions. Awards for the 11/12 and 13/18 age groups will be handed out during their respective sessions.

CHAMPS Shirt Distribution

Swimmers who ordered CHAMPS shirts will receive them at the meet if they have not been previously picked up. They should immediately place their shirt into their labeled bag after receiving it.
